For most economical shipping for scraps a large 37 inch box is 37x20x15 inches in size and a 49 inch box is 49x20x10 inches. Cost per handling and large cardboard box is $11.00.   Bulk orders may be subject to discounts. Please write in the quantities and items you want at the comment box at the end of this webpage.

• Miscellaneous Small Balsa Scraps $3.48 per cubic foot ($0.29 per board foot).  The same type of balsa scraps seen in plastic bags at hobby stores that are sold for miscellaneous use.  These scraps may be broken or discarded smaller balsa sticks, split or rejected end grain sheets, balsa sections, dowels and cutoffs, laser cut rejects, etc.  Excellent for balsa arts and crafts classes.  5/8 and 11/16 inch dowel cutoffs are 3-1/2 inches long or less and are good for fishing tackle.  Scraps separated by size and use.  Most economical quantity to order 6.424 cubic feet.

• Miscellaneous Balsa Sticks and Sheets $6.00 per cubic foot ($0.50 per board foot).  These scraps may be broken or discarded balsa sticks, broken dowels, un-sanded sheets, sanded broken sheets, etc.  Excellent for balsa airplane builders.  Most economical quantity to order 6.424 cubic feet for 36 inch or 5.388 cubic feet for 48 inch.

• Small or Medium sized Miscellaneous Balsa Blocks $7.80 per cubic foot ($.65 per board foot).  Ends or sections of balsa blocks that have been cut off for special requested sizes and leftovers from oversized rough cut blocks.  Good for carvers or school art projects and derby racers.
• Basswood Miscellaneous Scraps $6.96 per cubic foot ($0.58 per board foot).  Odd shaped sticks cutoffs, basswood blocks, sheets, etc.  Most economical quantity to order 6.424 cubic feet.

• Medium balsa sawdust $0.50 per cubic foot.  Used for cattle bedding or mulch.  Most economical quantity to order 6.424 cubic feet.

• Balsa Shavings and Chips are $0.50 per cubic foot.  Usually, balsa shavings originate from planers and jointers.  Most economical quantity to order 6.424 cubic feet.

• Fine Balsa sawdust is $0.75 per cubic foot.  Sawdust is a fine, powdery substance created by saws and sanding equipment.  Most economical quantity to order 6.424 cubic feet.
